Heavy use of road salts can lead to unacceptable damage to vegetation; and run-off causes harm to aquatic life, birds, plants and animals.

As a result, road authorities everywhere have begun to incorporate best management practices and to prepare and implement salt management plans. Obviously, intelligent and effective salt application is of key importance for the environment as well as cost containment.

ControlPro® provides operators with extended control over sand and salt application through its' data-logging and GPS routing capabilities. ControlPro® also features speed-matching and pounds-per-mile measured dispersal to aid in proper application.
