The Evolution of Snowplow Control

Beginnings

Since 1986, Pennsylvania municipalities along with private snowplow companies began to learn the advantages of installing ControlPro®.

Having centralized operational control of the plow, spreader, work lights, dump body, and strobes, that could actually be calibrated for optimal performance, revolutionized the industry. Snowplow and spreader automation was born.

Evolution

In the following years, important technological breakthroughs contributed to the ControlPro® that's available today. Advances in micro-computers, global positioning satellites, and wireless computer connectivity, have propelled our products to the top of the evolutionary ladder.

Technologically Advanced

Through the implementation of Bluetooth technology and GPS, today's ControlPro® features wireless data logging, wireless system configuration, and graphical route mapping.

When used with Ponce Control Systems load-sensing central hydraulics manifold, efficient and consistent operation is the result.

Multiple and simultaneous operations are possible and the dump body and plow are controlled via a single joystick.

With thousands of ControlPro® systems already installed, Ponce Control Systems continues to support and improve snowplow and salt spreader technology. Our 4th generation ControlPro® is our most user-friendly system ever, sporting backlit controls and an adjustable pedestal.
